A contemporary North American grill, cocktail lounge and rooftop terrace located in Midtown Toronto celebrating a refined classic menu and indulgent signature drinks. Arthur's Restaurant has three distinct spaces to enjoy (dining area, bar, and rooftop patio) that feel both intimate and spacious at the same time. The ceiling is unique in its design of faceted wood panels with a wood veneer, constructed to enhance the octagonal shape of the room, and mimic the look of cut crystal hanging above.

With the gradual maturity of aesthetics and the aesthetic changes of human, the modern style that highlights self and individuality has become the important elements of design. This case is a restaurant, the designer want to create a youthful space experience for consumers. Light blue, grey and green plants create rnatural comfort and casualness for the space. The chandelier made by hand-woven rattan and metal explains the collision between human and nature, showing the vitality of the whole restaurant.

This house architectural and interior design plan brings in the house the extraordinary scene of lush garden landscape. The minimalist and modest colors embellishing the house exterior with blends congruously to the colors of natural environment. the design team chose to use an surprising method called the virtual space. the whole ceiling is made of stainless steel with the surface of mirror. images in mirror extend space in an endless way and break away from shackles of the building structure, letting the space drift away in a dynamic illusion, and project the rhythm of light and shadow.

Rebirth

The primitive ambiance of the indoor space is kept. Dismantle all the walls and bare the basic structure of concrete and brick walls naturally. The entrance is built with glass and iron pieces to visually extend the outdoor and indoor space. After the door is opened, there is a corridor paved in a special way with the wood pattern tiles to connect the front and backfields. Some plants are grown in the seams of the walls, which has the spirit of returning to nature and the metaphor for rebirth. The old warehouse is given a new life.
