Lotus is a guest chair designed to bring forth a translation of traditional Ming Dynasty chair design for a modern space. The design was inspired by a Ming Dynasty folding chair that was created to allow high-class generals to maintain a gesture of status during an outing. There's a Chinese idiom that describes the growth of a lotus flower, out of the mud yet unstained. Kindness, warmth, generosity, and pureness of heart are all emotions the chair hopes to convey.

This sales office project, facing low ceilings and poor lighting, innovatively overcomes these challenges with design and material solutions. Mirror technology visually raises the ceiling above 5 meters, enhancing spatial perception. LED-lit translucent jade glass walls, made from recycled materials, and high-gloss finishes like reflective stone and lacquer, significantly improve lighting and visually expand the space, creating a bright and open area for display, sales, and reception.

The variety of this product carries light and time, water, and the transparency of plasticity which makes it able to see and touch the time. The pointer will splash the water and cause small ripples per second, like every recurring event that is being triggered. In a whole circle of time, it finds the uniqueness and beauty in daily life from every perspective of the water.
