Woodland Kindergarten

Liu Jinrui Kindergarten Interior Tuesday, 16 June 2026

Woodland

Wandering in the Woods is a kindergarten interior designed for children aged two to six. The original building had limited space and relied heavily on artificial light. For reasons of structural stability and cost, the design keeps the entire structure and inserts an atrium that runs vertically through three stories, so all classrooms receive natural light from both sides. Columns become trees and beams become bridges. Continuous stairs and slides spiral around the columns and connect the spaces. Tree houses offer quiet areas for reading and handwork.

Lipa

The design philosophy centers on elevating the fine dining experience by offering an authentic tasting journey with no distractions - no glass barriers stand between you and the food. A rich, dark palette, enriched with local hues, cinnamon, and desert gray, reflects the spirit of the region, while the blend of raw and luxurious materials mirrors the chef's heartfelt approach to each dish. A final touch of artisan care invites the guests to savor the warmth of home.

Arabica Riyadh Roastery

Arabica Riyadh Roastery is a theater style cafe set in a renovated warehouse of about 885 square meters on two floors. A large custom roasting machine stands on a stage at the back of the store, framed by a bean cellar. The kitchen counter is placed where an orchestra pit would be, and the atrium above lets the sounds of the baristas carry through the space. The floor is lowered in front of the stage, while upper level seats offer views from above. White artificial marble, brick, perforated metal and painted surfaces add texture, and sheer curtains divide the box seats.
