The Blues

The Blues is a residential interior design created for a family of three in Taiwan. The home covers about 154 square meters and contains a foyer, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a master bedroom, a guest bedroom and an open plan study. The television wall is made of titanium plated metal wrapped in warm woodwork. A glass partition encloses the study and keeps the interior transparent, so work and family life can share one area. The beveled ceiling of the master bedroom conceals low beams. Non toxic materials were selected for the child.

Exclusive Privilege

Exclusive Privilege is a residential interior design for a model house in Taiwan, completed in 2020. The total interior area is approximately 115.7 square meters and includes a foyer, living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom, two secondary bedrooms and a study room. The living room, dining room and study are arranged as a club-like public area for dining and business meetings at home. Marble, grilles, trims and imported tiles form a classical base. Minimalist linear lights on the ceiling add a modern character. Concealed cabinets provide storage in the narrow bedrooms.

White Curve

White Curve is a residence interior designed for a couple and a child. The home covers 85 square meters. The ceiling is composed of criss-crossing curves, which reduce the sense of confinement in a small residence. Earth tones create a warm and flowing atmosphere, with light wood tones combined with brown and light orange accents on a white background. The beam between the living room and the dining room is covered with wood matching a cabinet. The entrance uses grey patterned tiles and a full length mirror to widen the space.

Hanauta is a residential interior design for an apartment of 198.3 square meters on the sixteenth floor, formed by combining two units. A large false beam was removed from the living room to restore openness under the high ceiling. Wavy panels beside the staircase conceal beams and columns. Large floor-to-ceiling windows bring in natural light. Warm neutral colors are used in the social area, while cool neutral tones are used in the private rooms. Wood veneer and grilles soften the stone surfaces.

Ruilan is a residential interior design for a family home in Taiwan. The home is planned around an open kitchen, which replaced the original closed layout. The Essence

The Essence is a residential interior design for an apartment in Taiwan. A large beam crosses the apartment at a height of less than 210 centimetres. Both sides of the beam are covered with large zebra wood, with titanium-plated metal at the bottom, turning the beam into a focal point. The ceiling meets the beam through oblique angles and curves, which extends the view upward and makes the space appear broader. A long table serves as both a living and a dining area. Most storage is placed in the private rooms, and hidden cabinets keep the shared space simple.

Heaven within Reach

Heaven Within Reach is a residential interior design set near mountains and a river in New Taipei City. The original house was rough in finish and held many large beams and columns, with the lowest point measuring 215 cm. The bedroom, storage, hallway, kitchen and dining area are placed around the center of the plan, leaving a spacious public area. A cross beam separates the public and private zones. An irregular arched ceiling, layered surfaces, rounded edges and a palette of white, dusty gray, deep walnut and black make the home feel light and calm.

My Boundary

My Boundary is a residential interior design in Taoyuan city, Taiwan, with a floor area of 69.42 square meters. The plan divides the space in a modern style and adapts it to the needs of the residents. In the study room, glass and a glass block wall let sunlight pass into the interior, so light and shadow move slowly through the rooms. A semi-circular detail in the master bedroom extends the sense of space. Plywood and wooden beams are treated by a high temperature carbonization process, and the television wall is finished with recyclable tiles made from PP foam.

Serenity

Serenity is a residential interior design for a 105 square meter apartment in Taiwan. The home contains three rooms, a dining room and a living room. Low saturation colors in black, white and gray create a calm atmosphere. A gray mirror finish was applied to a 2.3 meter beam so that the space appears larger and brighter. Technological wood grain panels add subtle texture to the walls, and the use of paint was reduced to reveal the natural character of the materials.
